And once you start writing, you probably flow more with what you are writing at that time, and not with what you had read somewhere in the past. You definitely don't need to read tons of books to write ...but there comes a point when you get stuck with your limited knowledge and experiences. That's what I was talking about. You need to expand your horizons... there's always room for improvement, and studying helps you get there... and besides, I'm pretty sure that whatever you create thesedays is rooted in books you've read and things you've experienced in your past, don't you think...you cannot create without learning in the first place!.. Creativity is fundamentally innate, but knowledge isn't! ...and welcome pal, you're my first critic... You don't need books and documentaries to learnd about clouds. It's about creating something. I agree that good writers know a lot of things, but fact knowing has nothing to do with creation.
